How to help
If you are reading this as an interested individual or a possible corporate sponsor there are many ways in which you can become involved and ensure the ongoing success of the Committee.
The Winter Rainbow Ball is the Committee’s main annual fundraising event. The formula is very simple. The cost of the Ball is essentially covered by ticket sales. Thereafter all other income (such as sponsorship, donations, advertising and money raised on the night) is used to purchase equipment for the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
Sponsors can assist with many aspects of the event. Your company may specialise in an area with which we need help or you may be able to provide funds to cover some of the costs of the night. Your company may also be able to provide major prizes for the raffle or auction. Your staff may even simply wish to attend the Ball and contribute on the night.
Fixed costs involved in the event range from $500 to $20,000. Aspects of the night which your company could sponsor include each course of the meal ($6,000 to $16,000), the drinks package ($16,000), table decorations ($3,000), insurance ($2,000), audiovisual equipment ($5,500) and band ($4,500).
If your company is able to contribute to the night, recognition in the form of signage, advertisements in our programme and verbal recognition by our MC will be provided. We also have a limited number of complimentary tickets available for our major sponsors.
